A fabulous `School Grounds We`d Like` day!

Yesterday we held our `School Grounds We`d Like` day, luckily, it was a beautiful sunny day and we had a fantastic time planting the mini-fruit tress for our orchard. We would like to say a huge thank you to the parents who came to help us during the day. Here are some pictures of us hard at work:

Phew! That was hard work but great fun. It was lovely to see all the children and staff mucking in together and seeing what all the classes had achieved at the end of the day.

I let Sarah win the in the wheelbarrow race incidentally!!

It was great to see all the classes and staff getting stuck in. What a fab day! I know a lot more about tree planting now. Fingers crossed the trees are happy in their new home.

I actually let Sarah Redfearn win the wheelbarrow race by the way!

  3. It was a great morning. Can’t wait to taste the “fruits” of our labours later in the year.. Particularly enjoyed the wheelbarrow race! Well done KB!
